- Main Presentation: On this TADUG meeting we will have Mike Smeltzer, as the main presenter to talk about Workflows in DNN.


Workflows have been part of the DNN API since version 7.4 but has not had wide adoption amongst solution developers. We will review why workflows are important, how the API works, walk-through a sample module and discuss the next steps of bringing a Workflow Management UI to DNN.


About Mike Smeltzer:


Mike Smeltzer is an IT Consultant based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada who specializes in the DNN Platform, full-stack .NET development, system integration and business process automation. His IT experience covers both operational and project work within many industries including telecommunications, video games, health-care and insurance.


Outside of consulting engagements, Mike also enjoys product development and is currently working to bring a new DNN control panel experience called Shine to the market.


Mike enjoys collaborating with others in all aspects of software development. He has a diverse skill set and is interested in governance and change management, front and back-end development, usability and automation.
